After downloading a show or video to your device, you have a limited amount of time to view it before the video expires. Some content will expire due to licensing agreements. Content that you've downloaded that will expire in 7 days or less will display the amount of time left to start watching on your downloads page.
Once you start watching a show or video, it will automatically expire within 48 hours. Fortunately, if one of your downloads expires before you're finished watching it, most of the time you will have the option to renew it.
How do I renew an expired download?
- Enter your Downloads page by selecting the icon at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the expired icon on the episode or video
- A pop up menu should appear at the bottom of the screen, select "Renew Download"
Please note: Not all titles will be available to renew once they've expired. If the show or video is no longer available on discovery+, you will not be able to renew the download.
