If you’re having trouble signing in to discovery+, here are some things to try. You may need to try more than one of these solutions:
- Reset your password
- Try another device or browser
- Clear your cache
- Update or try another computer browser
Note If you subscribed to discovery+ through Amazon Prime Video Channels, The Roku Channel, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, DISH, or Sling TV, you can’t sign in to discovery+. Instead, you can stream discovery+ using the app where you signed up. For more info, go to Watch discovery+ via another app.
Reset your password
Try resetting your password. Here’s how:
- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot Password?
- Enter your discovery+ account email and choose Email Me.
- Check your inbox for a Reset your password email sent by discovery+.
- Open this email and choose Reset Your Password.
- Enter and confirm your new strong password (at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number) and choose Save.
- Now, sign in to discovery+ with your account email and your new password.
No password reset email?
If you don’t get a password reset email from noreply@email.discoveryplus.com within a few minutes, do the following:
- Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions and Spam).
- Try the password reset steps above for each of your email accounts.

Try another device
Try signing in to discovery+ on another supported device (phone, TV, or computer) or supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
Clear your cache
You can clear the discovery+ cache on your Amazon Fire tablet, Android phone or tablet, and computer. Here’s how:
Amazon Fire tablet
- On your Amazon Fire tablet, go to Settings > App & Games > Manage All Applications.
- Select discovery+ from the list of apps.
- Select Force Stop.
- Select Clear Cache.
- Select Clear Data.
- Open discovery+ and try signing in again.
Android phone or tablet
- On your Android device, go to Settings.
- Select Search and type discovery+.
- Select discovery+ from the search results.
- Select Storage & cache or Storage.
- Select Clear cache.
- Open discovery+ and try signing in again.
Computer
Try clearing the cookies and cache on your computer browser. Here’s how:
- Clear your browser’s cookies for discoveryplus.com. To find out how to do this, search your browser’s help for ‘cookies.’
- Close and reopen your browser.
- Go to discoveryplus.com and try signing in again.
If you still can’t sign in on your computer, try clearing your browser’s cache. To find out how to do this, search your browser’s help for ‘clear cache.’
Update or try another computer browser
- Make sure you’re using a supported browser.
- Check to see if there’s an update available for your browser. To find out how to do this, search the internet for update + the name of your browser (i.e., update Chrome).
- Try using a different supported browser.
