Can't sign in to discovery+

If you’re having trouble signing in to discovery+, You may need to try more than one of these solutions:

Note

If you subscribed to discovery+ through Amazon Prime Video Channels, The Roku Channel, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, DISH, or Sling TV, you can’t sign in to discovery+. Instead, you can stream discovery+ using the app where you signed up. For details, go to Watch discovery+ via another app.

Troubleshooting

Sign in without a password

Here's how to sign in without a password:

  1. When prompted for your password, choose Get a Code Instead.

  2. Check your inbox for an email from discovery+ with the subject line "Time Sensitive: Your one-time discovery+ code". This email should arrive within a few minutes.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code from your email.

  4. Choose who's watching and you're ready to stream.

No 'one-time code' email?

If you don't get an email from noreply.email@discoveryplus.com within a few minutes, do the following:

  • Check all inbox folders, including Promotions, Junk, and Spam.

  • If another email may be associated with your discovery+ account, try signing in with that email address. Then follow the 'Sign in without a password' steps again.

If you still don’t get an email from us, please contact us for help.

Reset your password

If you don’t know your discovery+ password, you can reset it. You need to have access to your account email in order to reset your password.

If you subscribed at discoveryplus.com or using the discovery+ app, here’s how to reset your password:

  1. Go to discoveryplus.com/forgot-password.

  2. Enter your discovery+ account email and choose Submit.

  3. Check your inbox for a discovery+ 'Password Reset' email. This email should arrive within a few minutes.

  4. Open the most recent Password Reset email and choose Reset Your Password.

  5. Enter a new password and choose Save.

No 'password reset' email?

If you don't get an email from noreply.email@discoveryplus.com within a few minutes, do the following:

  • Check all inbox folders, including Promotions, Junk, and Spam.

  • Try the password reset steps above for each of your email accounts.

If you still don’t get an email from us, please contact us for help.

Try another device

Try signing in to discovery+ on another supported device (phone, TV, or computer) or supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

Clear your cache

You can clear the discovery+ cache on your Amazon Fire tablet, Android phone or tablet, and computer. Here’s how:

Amazon Fire tablet

  1. Open the Settings menu.

  2. Select Apps & Notifications.

  3. Select Manage All Applications or See All Apps and choose the app you are having trouble with.

  4. Select Storage, tap to Clear Data or Clear Storage, then Clear Cache.

  5. Select Clear Data.

  6. Open discovery+ and try signing in again.

Android phone or tablet

  1. On your Android device, go to Settings.

  2. Select Search and type discovery+.

  3. Select discovery+ from the search results.

  4. Select Storage and cache or Storage.

  5. Select Clear cache.

  6. Open discovery+ and try signing in again.

Computer

Try clearing the cookies and cache on your computer browser. Here’s how:

  1. Clear your browser’s cookies for discoveryplus.com. To find out how to do this, search your browser’s help for ‘cookies.’

  2. Close and reopen your browser.

  3. Go to discoveryplus.com and try signing in again.

If you still can’t sign in on your computer, try clearing your browser’s cache. To find out how to do this, search your browser’s help for ‘clear cache.’

Update or try another computer browser

  • Make sure you’re using a supported browser.

  • Check to see if there’s an update available for your browser. To find out how to do this, search the internet for update + the name of your browser (i.e., update Chrome).

  • Try using a different supported browser.
